Arenal Volcano Hike

This 2 hours guided hike on the west side of Arenal Volcano will lead us through secondary forest trails and over the 1968 lava flow. It is an awesome opportunity to learn about Arenal´s Volcanic activity and history and the flora and fauna of the area. The observation point will allow you an opportunity to take pictures of the powerful volcano and Arenal Lake.

Optional: On the way back to town, we can stop off at one of the hot springs to relax in the warm water and soak away all our muscle pain. (Buffet dinner is also optional).

Departure:
8:00am or 3:00pm

Return:
6:30pm (Hike Only) 9:30pm (with Hot Springs).

What to bring:
Camera, binoculars, comfortable clothing, raincoat, walking shoes, insect repellent. With Hot Springs also bring: swimsuit, towel, sandals and extra clothes.

Hanging Bridges

Known as one of the most beautiful environmental projects in Costa Rica, Arenal Hanging Bridges is a combination of trails and hanging bridges situated near Volcano Arenal. This nature preserve shelters a great variety of flora and fauna including many native and migratory birds. These 3.1 kilometers of trails include views of Arenal Volcano, crossing of 14 bridges (6 are hanging bridges), and an opportunity to appreciate the great diversity that is typical of the rainforest.

Zip Line

This Canopy tour at the base of the famous Arenal Volcano offers you a full adrenaline experience within a beautiful Costa Rican rainforest, with the possibility of seeing howler monkeys, sloths, coati and many exotic birds.

In this tour we have series of cables attached from tree to tree, on which you glide using a pulley secured with mountain climbing equipment. You will enjoy the tour safely, facing front as you soar through the rainforest, although we encourage people to try different positions to make the most of the experience.

The route consists of 12 cables and 13 platforms, covering a full distance of 2.8 kilometers (1.7 miles), which makes this the longest and most memorable tour of its kind in the area. The cables lengths vary from 50 meters to 500 meters, that allow fly at different heights and speeds.

Once the tour is completed you will find yourself walking along a cobble-stoned path and crossing the crocodile and caiman farm, a frog farm and a butterfly garden. Then you can relax or have more fun in our: Jacuzzis, hot springs, Water slides or fresh water pools.
